A Global Vision comes to Life…
The GLOBAL ECHO Project is a dynamic and interactive digital, social platform and archive for individuals, companies and brands that captures the world’s purpose driven stories, community actions, collaborations and “doing good projects”.
Inspired by action: Doing good, talk about it and activate others to do so, by leveraging the power of collective spirit, modern technology and greater credibility.
A community united in the common goal to do good and change the world.
A global community of doers and trailblazers.
Why join the community?
What makes us different?
A Global Vision comes to Life…
Focused Purpose
Unlike general social media, which is broad and often scattered, the GLOBAL ECHO Project would be a space solely dedicated to purpose driven stories, community action and collaboration. The common denominator will attract like-minded people.
Partners will benefit from associating with a community that has a singular focus on collective good, which aligns their brand with social impact in a more direct and better way.
Interactive Global Collaboration
The project emphasizes global collaboration for greater impact on a level that general social media doesn’t necessarily achieve.
By encouraging international participation and interaction around shared goals, GLOBAL ECHO offers a unique platform and communication channel where partnerships could foster global initiatives. Something that might be harder to organize on platforms or in communities where the focus is more individual or local.
Archive Aspect
While other platforms and communities allow sharing, they aren’t designed as archives of the world’s emotions, memories and moments.
GLOBAL ECHO curates and preserves these contributions in a way that other platforms don’t, creating a living, historical record of humanity’s collective experiences.
For individuals and partners, this could mean long-term visibility and association with a meaningful and better legacy.
Be part of the “greater good”.
Credibility and Depth
Partnering with the GLOBAL ECHO Project could provide greater credibility to the message of doing good.
While traditional media and social platforms and communities are used for promotion, they can also be crowded or viewed as commercial.
GLOBAL ECHO, as a focused platform, builds an authentic and engaged community where actions and contributions are celebrated in a meaningful way, creating a wealth of positive associations for a partner’s brand.
GLOBAL ECHO offers a space that’s both purpose-driven and designed to foster genuine global connection and action.
Attracting like-minded individuals to be part of the community united in a common goal and spirit.
GLOBAL ECHO will be appealing to partners to reach the right audience looking to stand out from the noise on other platforms and communities.
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN.
Live Aid 1985 – A Legacy of Unity and Inspiration
A Moment of Global Unity: A historic event that brought the world together with a shared vision and unforgettable memories of unity.
Inspiring Future Action: These powerful moments serve as a beacon, encouraging us to carry the spirit of Live Aid and similar moments in history forward, using it as a force for positive change today and beyond.
Project
Live Aid was a benefit concert held on July 13, 1985, to raise funds for famine relief in Ethiopia. Organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure, it featured simultaneous performances at Wembley Stadium in London and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia from over 70 bands, broadcasted live across the world. It is estimated that 85% of TVs worldwide tuned in to the show.
Engagement
Nearly 2 billion people across 150 countries - the largest simultaneous live and TV audience for any event in history.
Direct Effects
Live Aid raised over $125 million for famine relief and significantly increased awareness of the crisis. The publicity generated by the concert ensured Western nations made available enough surplus grain to end the immediate hunger crisis in Africa.
Influence
The event demonstrated the power music has to connect people in global solidarity in expressing support for a cause. Heightened public awareness and pressure led Western governments to put more emphasis on humanitarian concerns in their foreign policies than ever before. It had a profound impact on political discourse and policy, highlighting the power of public mobilization in influencing government actions.
It also led to important debate on whether charity perpetuates dependence rather than fostering systemic change, and whether highlighting charity as a solution deflects from government responsibility for addressing the root causes of hunger and conflict.
